Hoppy Easter from the Mobleys!

Winston stopping to smell the roses!
We were so lucky last year to be able to spend Easter with Mike's side of our family out in San Francisco.  Unfortunately, we were both ridiculously ill, so we didn't get to enjoy San Francisco like we'd hoped, but at least we spent the weekend with family (when we weren't quarantined to our hotel room).  This year, Easter weekend happened to land on my mother-in-law's birthday, so we had the pleasure of spending another Easter with the Mobley family as they made a trip out to New York for the week.  After a fantastic birthday celebration on Friday night in Brooklyn & a delicious home made meal chez Mobley on Saturday, we had more family time in store for Easter.

Mobley Easter baskets!

The weather on Easter Sunday could not have been more refreshing and gorgeous.  On a balmy 68 degree day, we packed up the Jeep with a truck full of well-dressed Mobleys & headed out to join the Buck family in Princeton, NJ.  We've spent Easter's past in Princeton, previously with "just the kids", so it was a treat to have both the Mobley & Buck parents in town to celebrate.

We spent almost the entire afternoon outside soaking up some vitamin D and walking around barefoot on the grass, sipping nice chilled glasses of white wine, and smoking cigars.  Chuck and crew, as usual, prepared a fantastic meal that we all enjoyed on the deck under the shade of the beautiful trees with just enough sunshine peeking through.

The Mobleys returned to Manhattan just a few hours later recharged from nature and sufficiently stuffed from our Easter meal.  Thank you to the Bucks for hosting us all on a gorgeous Easter Sunday! We hope you all had a fantastic and very blessed Easter weekend!
